The Woodlands Area Film Commission is part of The South Montgomery County/ Woodlands Chamber of Commerce (a 501(c)6 corporation) with support from The Woodlands Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.
The Woodlands offers Texas hospitality, an enticing incentive package, a wide variety of film locations in close proximity and a cosmopolitan community with business leaders who are excited about hosting film production!
The Film Commission works to attract business and grow the media industries in our area. This includes the production of motion pictures, television, commercials, corporate videos, music videos, documentaries, animation, video effects, video and computer games as well as still photography.
The Commission assists throughout the production process including finding locations, crew and housing. The Commission is also the liaison between the production teams and the community to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
